Hi, my name is Cristol! I’m small but mighty! I like to be near my people at all times. When I am ready to cuddle, I love to sleep on my foster family’s laps. I’m not super graceful about it and sometimes I jump up then roll backwards off the couch :) But before I am ready to cuddle, I usually have quite a bit of energy I need to wear off first. I love running around the yard and doing a little parkour! Chew toys are also a great way I like to burn off energy, but make sure you buy very tough ones because I love to chew. My foster mom doesn’t mind because I never chew on her furniture, shoes, or pillows. I know that my toys are special for me to get my chewing urges out of my system. Thankfully my foster brothers are really good and they put up with me stealing all the toys right out of their mouths. Because I think I need all the toys, if I live with other dogs, they'll need to put up with me taking toys. Sometimes my foster mom gives me a whole room full of toys by myself so I can go wild!

My foster family tells me that I have a very funny personality. I boop my snoot into everything as I explore my surroundings. I also like to press my snoot into people when they give me good scratches, even if it makes it hard for me to breath – it’s my way of saying “I love you.” When I get excited, I jump up and wave my front paws around like I am waving. Sometimes if I'm super excited and no one is paying attention to me, I'll bark until I get attention - so please make sure to exercise me!

I am really smart when it comes to learning commands. I know “sit”, “stay”, “come” and “no.” I am working on “lay down” and “down” but those can be hard to learn because I get so excited. I am really good at snuggling at bedtime if you would like a cuddle buddy I like to be the little spoon. However, I am also really good in my crate. Just make sure you have a soft blanket in my crate for me to curl up in. When I hear the word “kennel” I immediately run to my kennel and get comfortable, even when it’s for quiet time during the day. My foster mom says she is really impressed at how good I listen when I need to go into my kennel. When I am in my kennel, I am quiet and only whine quietly if I have to go potty. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I can hold my potty in the crate all day when my foster family is at work.

I can get a little nervous of strangers when they come into my home so please allow me to have some space when I meet new people. I need to take time and sniff around a bit first. However, outside of the home I love saying hi to new people. Sometimes when I get over stimulated, I can be redirected with a little spritz from a water bottle (like a kitty ;-)) I also get so excited to play with my people that I use my front teef to corncob nibble. It can pitch and hurt so I need to be with a family that can help calm me down when I get too excited. I just have so much fun playing and wrestling. It would best for me if my future family has experience with pitties and other similar bully breeds because I can be stubborn.

I live with lots of other dogs and sometimes I bark at them when they won't play with me. I would probably do best with another dog that likes to play a lot!
