Hey everyone! I am sooooo proud to be a volunteer with you! I love seeing the dogs up for adoption win the hearts of everyone they meet at adoption events! I look forward to many more successful adoptions and working with such an awesome group!

I am proud to say that I volunteer and foster for Ruff Start Rescue. I am impressed with the dedication to find the right home for each specific dog, not just any home will do. As a foster it makes me feel at ease knowing the dog I foster will be going to a great forever home. I definately recommend RSR to ANYbody looking for an animal. Thank you RSR for having an organization I can stand behind and believe in!

I was looking into your Rescue out of curiousity, and I was impressed to see the scores of bully breeds you have helped find homes, and the thorough work in the placement process. I am also very impressed to see the level of expectations that volunteers and foster homes are held to, and the commitment of the staff involved. I would feel comfortable adopting a pet from your organization in the future. Again, taking pitties in and working with them alone speaks volumns. I own a Pitbull, and I know I can tell people until I'm blue in the face how stigma and media hype these true American breeds into monsters that certain owners make them into. They can be very hard to place and some shelters will euthanise just because of the breed, including our own where I live. Kudos to you and all your hard work. Keep it up.

I think what you are doing here is absolutely amazing. You are doing everything right to find the best fit for your animals. The paragraphs written from the foster homes, to photographer you have that takes some of the shots, the way your website is laid out, and the vet that helps you is all terrific. We will be looking for an addition to our family soon, I hope we can find the perfect match from your organization.

Thanks so much for stepping up to take a beautiful mastiff/pitty mix from Moorhead, MN. She was rescued by a young couple because they were aware she was not being taken care of in the home that had her. They tried to find a home for her and couldn't so they contacted me. I've been involved in rescue long enough to know dogs needing new homes have a much better chance at finding a good "fit" with a family, when then go through a rescue. You guys stepped up when no rescues in Fargo could, I am forever grateful.

All of you deserve so many thanks for all you do so effortlessly. Taking on challenges that seem impossible but are done by your organization. You should be proud as I am for you all. Without your help, especially now with the Lake Traverse situation many hearts would be broken knowing no one came forward to help, but you did. God Bless each and every one of you. From Fargo to you!

Thankful for the great work you are doing in Minnesota! Right now I have a Gordon Setter that does not appreciate other dogs or I would happily adopt from your organization. It was great to find your rescue group on Facebook. Blessings to all of your rescuers and foster homes, Good Luck in the future. May you save as many pets as possible.
