I love to play with people, other dogs, and to snuggle.
I NEED a companion animal and to be in a home without children.
I have the cutest underbite - I smile all the time. I also have a very cute bunny hop when I chase after toys and other dogs. I'm pretty quiet, but when I do bark it’s not loud.
I get along well with other dogs; I like to chase and play tug with them. Also cats, and older kids.
I would rather not be left alone very long; I follow my foster mom everywhere in the house, and light up when she lets me out of my kennel in the morning.
I also need a little time to warm up to new people. I'm a little shy, but if you are quiet and patient, I will snuggle with you in no time. I predict with more time I will become more outgoing!
Grover came to us from a breeder/hoarding situation where he was one of about 100 dogs. He is still learning what it is to be outside of that situation, but has come a long way since coming into the rescue. He is finding every day that people are good and something he can trust. He will need a home who can understand his past and who has another dog to keep him company.
