My name is Betty White and I was found as a stray on a reservation in South Dakota. I was confused, cold, and skinny when my rescuer found me. My rescuer thinks I was most likely abandoned by my previous owners. Ruff Start Rescue then took me in and transported me to my foster parents home here in Minnesota.
I am the BEST girl. I am the sweetest, gentlest dog you’ll ever meet. I was nervous when I first moved into my foster parents home and would just sit back and observe everything. Within a week though I decided I felt safe and comfortable and have been starting to show off my goofy personality.
My 3 favorite things are: my foster parents, my warm bed, and food. I am so grateful to be in a safe and loving home and it really shows. When I am not snuggled up in a cozy dog bed, I follow my foster parents around the house and like to be involved in whatever they are doing. I am a slow walker and am on joint supplements to help with my stiff joints. A lot of steps would probably be difficult for me in my new home.
I get REALLY excited at meal times and make cute little grumbling noises and prance around a little bit when my foster parents are getting my food ready. It makes my foster parents laugh every time. I love to snuggle and am known for crawling up in my foster parents’ laps when they are watching TV so I can get some pets. I also sometimes snuggle with the other dogs in my home too. I’m a simple girl and just like being warm and cozy and having a belly full of food.
I also am completely house trained, sleep wonderfully through the night (although I do snore a little bit!), get along great with the other dogs in my house, don’t bark at all, and I don’t need to be crated when my foster parents leave the house because I just find a dog bed and take a nap when they are gone. I really am the best girl.
