Hey everyone! My name is Abbot I came from Texas originally. Actually, I’m still there! Since I’m not in Minnesota yet, I’m available through the Foster to Adopt program. Hi I’m Abbot. I currently live in my foster home with big dogs, small dogs, cats and adults. I am playful and affectionate and goofy! I may need some obedience training and I will need some potty training as I do potty outside but I tend to mark so my foster family makes me wear a belly wrap when inside the home. I am sure I can learn to ultimately be potty trained! I am somewhat vocal but very friendly to strangers and anyone that I meet! I don’t think that I will have any problem being around other dogs with some slow intros, but I am not sure about being around cats as I do sometimes bark at the cat I currently live with. I am outgoing and can’t wait to find my forever home!

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
