Theresa came to Ruff Start in rough conditions experiencing several medical issues that we are currently treating. She’s primarily had her teeth extracted and is recovering from her operation. She loves people and is very lovable herself. Theresa may be older but has the energy of a puppy. She will need leash training and potty training in her future home. When left alone, she is fine and not destructive or mouthy. She has not been dog or cat tested, though she has shown signs of some reactivity towards dogs. She does pull on the leash at times and is quite strong.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs). Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
