Peaches is an energetic, inquisitive pup who loves to explore the world. His favorite things include playing with other dogs, gnawing on bones, snacking on literally any food you offer him, and all the water in all its forms. Peaches is exactly what a puppy should be: happy-go-lucky and curious about everything around him. He'll be a great guard dog, as he catches all the little noises and movements in his neighborhood and lets you know (he's working on being less vocal). In fact, he's on the hyper-alert side but is working on it with some daily anxiety meds (taken orally). As he matures, he's most likely to grow out of any need for them, but for now, they help him level out. Peaches learns fast and listens very well for a pup. If he gets into something he shouldn't, he'll usually leave it when told to, and is a good sport about having items removed by hand.
He's fiercely loyal and tends to bond specifically to one human as his pack leader. He is particularly likely to bond with men, but his first owner was female and he was quite attached to her as well. Because he's so loyal and protective, it can be difficult for this pup to bond with others in a household, though he does well with adults in general. However, Peaches is not interested in being around children. His ideal home would be a single person or an adult couple with prior GSD experience and a big backyard to play in (bonus points if it's fenced, he's still learning to come when called). His favorite pastime is getting wet, and would love to play in the backyard with a hose and kiddie pool. He hasn't tried swimming yet but would probably adore it. Peaches would love to go on daily walks and even have another dog to play with, though he's also able to be independent. This pup is still learning not to chew on objects beyond his toys and bones, so will need kenneling or supervision until he fully matures. Luckily, he doesn't mind his kennel much and settles in within 5-10 minutes (though he's bummed to be missing out on any action happening while he's cooped up). Peaches is almost 100% on potty training and will let you know when he needs to go out by going to the door or staring at it. He's got some basic commands down, like sit, wait, shake and lie down, and will only improve with more practice!
