Hey everyone! My name is Hash. I came from Texas originally. Actually, I’m still there! Since I’m not in Minnesota yet, I’m available through the Foster to Adopt program.. Why don’t you go check out my photos for more information about it! I can’t wait to get to Minnesota to find my fur-ever family soon.. July 11th to be exact.
Hi there! My name is Hash or, as foster mom likes to call me, Hash Brown. I'm a sweet puppy who is looking for an awesome forever family who will be patient enough to give me a little time to settle in at my new home. I was found on the streets of Houston, Texas, my foster mom thinks I must have had a pretty rough life before given a second chance. Because of this, I am still learning that humans can be kind and trustworthy. If you are looking for a puppy who will immediately cover you in kisses and shower you with tail wags, then I might not be your guy. But once I feel safe and start to trust you, I will melt your heart. But good things are worth the wait, right? In my Texas foster home, I live with two other dogs and a cat. I am curious about what everyone is doing and really want the other dogs here to run around and play with me (even though they aren't too into it)! Foster mom thinks I would do well with a doggy sibling in my new home to help me to continue building my confidence and learning how to be a playful puppy. And I have figured out that I really like toys! I will collect several of them and create a pile on my bed so that I can test out all of the squeakers one by one! I also think it's fun to have you throw one so that I can run and pounce on it. I am getting braver each day and have really started exploring my surroundings in my foster home. But new places and situations can be overwhelming for me at first. Even though I likely grew up outdoors, I'm a little unsure of going outside. Because of this, I may try to run and hide if left unsupervised. To make sure I'm safe, foster mom keeps a leash on me, even when we're in her fenced yard. Being on a leash is new to me, but it's something that I will learn with time, patience, and practice. Since I am not completely comfortable with being outside on a leash yet, potty training is still a work in progress.
Please note that Hash will REQUIRE another friendly confident dog in the home and a fully fenced yard.
A little bit about me…I am a puppy and learning all the new things that puppies need to learn. Puppies typically love dogs, cats, kids, and adults. I am high energy and I need a family that has the time and patience for a puppy. The reward is puppy breath and kisses!
*The breed of a shelter puppy is often times a guess based on what traits the dog presents when they are brought into the shelter. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*
