Hi! I’m EllieAnn, but I go by Ellie. Do you like food? I looove food. My foster parents tell me one cup of food twice a day is plenty, but hey, if you’re feeling especially generous we’ll keep that between us. So let’s Netflix and snack, it’s the perfect date! No need to leave the house. If you would be my very own puppy pal, we will have so much fun! I love tug-o-war, fetch, chase, and rough housing in general, though I do the rough housing with other dogs. Speaking of my puppy cousins, I would love a friend of my own to wear out all this puppy energy with. I do still need to learn some manners, but that’s what treats are for. When I’m ready to go solo, I lay next to my humans and snuggle up. Or I chew on some heavy duty chew toys; those are my jam. Did I mention I’m potty trained? Yep, I tell you when it’s outside time, but don’t let me out of the yard or off the leash, this world is way to interesting to stay in one spot. I do pull on my leash, so I’m still needing some basic training. I can also jump pretty high, so let’s do tall fences okay? Kids are all right, usually I lick them and follow them around. Those tiny tots sure are interesting, especially when they drop those delicious little snacks they’re always carrying around. I may bark at new people who enter the home, but you guessed it, give me some treats and I’ll warm up just fine. I love to learn and sometimes other dogs overwhelm me or I get too excited. Make sure you tell me to take a break if I’m getting a little too wound up. Tell me “look at me!” with one of those treats or a squeaky toy and lead me away for a little while. I will adjust quickly, so no worries there! I am able to stay in my kennel for long periods of time, as my current humans work 8 or so hours a day. While I don’t like my kennel, I will sleep in it but do pretty well sleeping outside of it at night. If you’ll let me, I will snuggle you hard all night long. I can’t wait until we finally meet, we’re going to have so much fun together!
