Hi there everyone! My name is Magnus but I go by Noche, I guess that means night in Spanish and my parents said they named me that because my sister’s name is Dia(that means day). My parents adopted me through Ruff Start when I was 8 weeks old because they said I had the cutest little face they couldn’t refuse. When we got home I found out mom and dad already had Dia, which made me more excited than her, but we were soon best friends(and still are). My parents are always saying that I’m the sweetest cuddle puddle and one of my favorite things to do is give big kisses to my family, but I just need to learn to trust other people and animals a bit more so they can see how great I am too. As a puppy, I graduated from my training classes and was well socialized, but due to genetics, I have always been a pretty anxious boy. Unfortunately, my parents had a human baby and because young children make me the most anxious(they make weird noises and movements), I need to be in a house without any. My parents decided to help me with my anxiety by getting me a prescription and I have to say I feel a whole lot better.
My new owner will need to be a leader to help remind me of all the good things I do(I love working for treats). When I see new people, I can get quite anxious, so I need someone who will work with me to learn to trust them and not get mad at me. That being said, it would be best for me to be in a home that doesn’t have too many unplanned visitors, although I do warm up pretty quickly to older humans once I start to know and recognize them. I love playing with my fur sister and could do fine in a house with another dog, as long as we had a slow and proper introduction.
I love going on walks, playing with Dia, chewing on toys, and just lounging around too. I am perfectly house trained and I do not need to be crated. At night, I sleep in bed with my parents and will crawl right under the covers, but sometimes I get hot so I come out for a bit to cool down! I know quite a few commands including, sit, lay, stay, leave it, and back. I really need a home with someone that will continue to teach me to trust and give me lots of love. I also need a fenced yard and would absolutely love an active owner to take me on lots of walks or even jogs.
An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
